Sandra Good - What's Holding Things Up?

Sandra Good (Blue)

‘‘Everybody is afraid of death - and that’s what’s holding things up. Nobody’s content right now with the world they’ve created yet their minds are all locked by a fear of death.’’

Charles Manson - I Know

I don't understand - I KNOW. There is no understanding, I made it up. I don't know - I know that also. I made knowing up. There is no need for knowing if you know - it all just is. I made everything up. Outside of is - God made IS up and that's everything but God being everything would have no lesson to learn, nothing to know + all being understood would be IS + IS WOULD BE PEACE :) no needs but ATWA

Suffocating the World

You’re standing in line at the grocery store when you realize that you don’t have your reusable bag. You’ll have to get a plastic bag. Again. You feel bad for a moment and then think that it’s just one bag. But it isn’t …

In the U.S. alone, 280 billion plastic bags are used each year, which is enough to stretch around the earth nearly 30,000 times. Making and using plastic bags has more repercussions than you might think. Check out the following infographic to see how exactly plastic bags affect our cities, our environment and even our economy.

Broken Rainbow

'Broken Rainbow' is a 1985 documentary film about the government-enforced relocation of thousands of Navajo Native Americans from their ancestral homes in Arizona. The Navajo were relocated to aid mining speculation in a process that began in the 1970s and continues to this day.

Wolves of Chernobyl

In 1986 a nuclear meltdown at the infamous Chernobyl power plant in present-day Ukraine left miles of land in radioactive ruins. Residents living in areas most contaminated by the disaster were evacuated and relocated by government order, and a no-man’s land of our own making was left to its own devices.

In the ensuing 25 years, forests, marshes, fields and rivers reclaimed the land, reversing the effects of hundreds of years of human development. And surprisingly, this exclusion zone, or “dead zone,” has become a kind of post-nuclear Eden, populated by beaver and bison, horses and birds, fish and falcons – and ruled by wolves.

Access to the zone is now permitted, at least on a limited basis, and scientists are monitoring the surviving wildlife in the area, trying to learn how the various species are coping with the invisible blight of radiation.

As the top predators in this new wilderness, wolves best reflect the condition of the entire ecosystem because if the wolves are doing well, the populations of their prey must also be doing well. Accordingly, a key long-term study of the wolves has been initiated to determine their health, their range, and their numbers.

"Radioactive Wolves" examines the state of wildlife populations in Chernobyl’s exclusion zone, an area that, to this day, remains too radioactive for human habitation.

Tar Sands - The Most Destructive Project on Earth

The Tar Sands "Gigaproject" is the largest industrial project in human history and likely also the most destructive. The tar sands mining procedure releases at least three times the CO2 emissions as regular oil production and is slated to become the single largest industrial contributor in North America to Climate Change.

The tar sands are already slated to be the cause of up to the second fastest rate of deforestation on the planet behind the Amazon Rainforest Basin. Currently approved projects will see 3 million barrels of tar sands mock crude produced daily by 2018; for each barrel of oil up to as high as five barrels of water are used.

Human health in many communities has seriously taken a turn for the worse with many causes alleged to be from tar sands production. Tar sands production has led to many serious social issues throughout Alberta, from housing crises to the vast expansion of temporary foreign worker programs that exploit non-citizens. Infrastructure from pipelines to refineries to super tanker oil traffic on the seas crosses the continent in all directions to all three major oceans and the Gulf of Mexico.

The mock oil produced primarily is consumed in the United States and helps to subsidize continued wars of aggression against other oil producing nations such as Iraq, Venezuela and Iran.

Environmental Defense released a new report on the Alberta Oil Sands, calling it the most destructive project on Earth:

Oil sands mining is licensed to use twice the amount of fresh water that the entire city of Calgary uses in a year. At least 90% of the fresh water used in the oil sands ends up in ends up in tailing ponds so toxic that propane cannons are used to keep ducks from landing.Processing the oil sands uses enough natural gas in a day to heat 3 million homes. The toxic tailing ponds are considered one of the largest human-made structures in the world. The ponds span 50 square kilometers and can be seen from space. Producing a barrel of oil from the oil sands produces three times more greenhouse gas emissions than a barrel of conventional oil.

Oil sands, tar sands or more technically, bituminous sands, are a type of unconventional petroleum deposit. The oil sands are loose sand or partially consolidated sandstone containing naturally occurring mixtures of sand, clay, and water, saturated with a dense and extremely viscous form of petroleum technically referred to as bitumen (or colloquially tar due to its similar appearance, odor and color). Natural bitumen deposits are reported in many countries, but in particular are found in extremely large quantities in Canada. Other large reserves are located in Kazakhstan and Russia. Total natural bitumen reserves are estimated at 249.67 billion barrels globally, of which 176.8 billion barrels , or 70.8%, are in Canada.

Oil sands reserves have only recently been considered to be part of the world's oil reserves, as higher oil prices and new technology enable profitable extraction and processing. Oil produced from bitumen sands is often referred to as unconventional oil or crude bitumen, to distinguish it from liquid hydrocarbons produced from traditional oil wells.

The crude bitumen contained in the Canadian oil sands is described by Canadian authorities as "petroleum that exists in the semi-solid or solid phase in natural deposits. Bitumen is a thick, sticky form of hydrocarbon, so heavy and viscous (thick) that it will not flow unless heated or diluted with lighter hydrocarbons. At room temperature, it is much like cold molasses". The World Energy Council (WEC) defines natural bitumen as "oil having a viscosity greater than 10,000 centipoises under reservoir conditions and an API gravity of less than 10° API". The Orinoco Belt in Venezuela is sometimes described as oil sands, but these deposits are non-bituminous, falling instead into the category of heavy or extra-heavy oil due to their lower viscosity. Natural bitumen and extra-heavy oil differ in the degree by which they have been degraded from the original conventional oils by bacteria. According to the WEC, extra-heavy oil has "a gravity of less than 10° API and a reservoir viscosity of no more than 10,000 centipoises".

Making liquid fuels from oil sands requires energy for steam injection and refining. This process generates 12 percent higher the amount of greenhouse gases per barrel of final product as the "production" of conventional oil.

Charles Manson's Open Letter to Timothy Leary

Picture made at Spahn Ranch, delivered to the
L.A. Free Press by Brenda McCann (Gold).

Two writings appeared in the L.A. Free Press at the time Charles Manson was facing the death penalty for crimes he did not commit, one was a letter from Brenda McCann (Gold) and another, an open Letter to Timothy Leary from Charles Manson, Leary at the time was in hiding after escaping from prison in September of 1970. Manson and Leary were later incarcerated together at Folsom Prison. As is common, Manson's life is spoken about by others with rare opportunity given to Manson to set the record in balance with his own perspective, I have not heard Manson say much about Leary but Leary has had plenty to say about Charles Manson, in interviews and quotes from books I have seen he has been dishonest about Charles Manson many, many times. But Timothy Leary's dead, outside looking in, Charles Manson is alive, inside looking out, lies fade, truth will endure.

Vintage illustration of Charles Manson from a
magazine that published Leary's version of spending
time with Manson in Folsom prison.

9 October 1970
General Tim Leary (Sunstone):

So I hear your call to arms to face the fears mad dog of suppression. My soul cries from a misty grave as I've always lived in this tomb of living dead. I've cried so long for freedom until becoming one with self is like to unwinding a top. I see only through the madness of mad men who try to kill soul and trap freedom in the name of peace, misusing the words love and god. Must I lay in giving again, I have always gave all for my loving and now as you see the grave will open. Will I stand alone, face myself and bring an unjust world to justice. I have cried for you brother.
Guns are what people get killed with. Their fear is your strongest weapon. People who are afraid of dying carry guns because they are afraid to face death.
When a man can face his own death and looks in the face of some man who can't face his own death, strange power is no power had love to stand and reflect no fear and all who are afraid will fall as fear brings to now awareness completing one with itself.
Love will look at death and welcome a look into itself.
Love will stand in their courtroom and judge its own for all to witness.
The truth is as it has always been "my" love can get out of this coming slaughter, by looking at it and learning to live with and welcome fear. My fear is my awareness.
Guns are like guitars, there's always one if a song should be played but don't move until judgement day.
Man has his son on trial and I think everyone should get in on it although it may be messy. Coming away from the cross is just as sloppy as going to it.
If you can go to a cross and love the men who put you there and see no wrong or bad, so then can you come from one and see no wrong or bad if the Romans take their turn. I've had my turn now it's yours.
Love is my judge as my love will judge them as my love judges me.The judge is not even a man. His woman sits in the third row and tells him and has told him even through his kids, she speaks in his ear. He like most men who place himself above others and judge others aren't men, but reflections of a discontented wife or mother.
No school left me dumb. I never learned what I didn't know and no mother or dad left me open to be the son of all men.
Many things happen to leave me open, open to love, open to truth, never learning outside my own understanding. I am of truth and left to judge myself in a prison cell 23 years. What man does not see that he don't keep me here in this courtroom. God put me here and he will do what he does.
The judge thinks he got me but he don't know I got the truth on my side. It will judge them. The judge will be judged.Words don't mean much so I'm just gonna give all as I always have. Anything you could tell me I knpw already. As you know what I'm-a-sayin'.
But maybe someone who reads this will be a little more confused. As your heart beats your soul knows of my love it's your love as I call it, this world will come to peace and no price is too much to pay, for the reward is in the giving.
I am calling all to bring down this tower in Babylon where the beast keeps me in a cage in the name of justice.
When we all come together in the name of one god, love and peace each one with himself, ready to face judgement day for man, standing with our hearts and lives in our hands, giving all, facing ourselves for what we have done and help me stop what man is doing.
The last battle is up on us. I've seen it coming for the last ten years, only the men who will face their own destruction look at it coming faster and faster, tune with it.
Face the blood and death as the wildlife does.
I am told not to kill and they kill me, not to steal and they steal me from the sunshine.
I am told I have rights and live in a free country. They have all the rights to do what they want to me and freedom they have taken away from this world in their words they have themselves tricked into believing their own lie, locked in fear of death, running from the crosses they pray to.
I'm calling to the cross the iron the steel cross of City Hall, calling my love to come put my mark on their foreheads and die.
Black men are marked from birth, Mexicans also.
As I the bastard son of a beast who has murdered the world in my name is now marked. I am ashamed to show my face and until this house is clean I must run from Gods sunshine house in the night take up arms and fight, like a mad dog devil that I must face and put him out of his misery.
God is not in the church!
Money and the gold catechism in the sky rule and people look to governments as their gods and Nixon holds hands with the preacher while the pope buys slave girls for the convents. They have blinded the children, laced their brains with word confusion, marred their souls with fear of fear, painted their faces, covered their bodies with shame, programmed to the grave.
I am no more than you let me be. This is the last time around and if you believe in yourself, believe in me, for I am in you as you in me.
My word id the word as my truth is the truth as my faith is my faith. My world is my world and I give it to you as much as you give it to me. Put your faith in yourself and know I love you for me and find it growing bringing my happiness closer.
Circles complete,
love and I'll see you in the street,
now is now is then.
Only the free in soul are without sin.
Give up the time, come to me.
Now as I come to now to be.
Always has one been.
Revelation brings blood, love knows no sin.
Don't take something from someone unless you can give the same. My love is and has always been your love. I love and will bring peace as the wind brings clouds and rain makes the world new so God speaks and calls me to now soon, you and your love are invited to the end of mans son.
I stand with no hate in my heart, only understanding in my soul for what must be done. I pick no man to fight. Man has picked me. The only thing I can do is what you said...fight to live. I have no choice for this machine shows me no truth, nor will it let me speak any truth.
Their justice is a face used to trick poor people. This machine has murdered the world and wants me to go the gas chamber for the lie they live.
My brothers and sisters, you must open your eyes, step from the time and money world, face the end and begin again with a song of freedom in your hearts and a prayer to love on your lips.
Your blood will flow as a river in the new world. Stand and face the end, let God be your judge. He gives you life and only he can take it. Give back to love what it gives you,and take all guestions from your mind, Love has no guestion.
Love is as its always been the beginning and the end.
Complete your circles, make ready to face me. All words are without meaning.
The thought has always been yours as I am.

Charles Manson | ATWA | The Mighty Right On

Charles Manson

Here is the way it really is...
All the babies being born are like a marathon.
They all start out into life, going, not knowing that they already know.
They are robbed of themselves and they actually believe that there’s somewhere to go. Because they are not told that they already know and that they’re born where it’s at.
Eternity is now and we’re borned into confusion. So we have to go through the confusion called civilization to find out it’s all horseshit and then we start all over.
And when we start all over there are different words that become, in a play or a race towards where they thought they were going and there are words and ways of honor that can be expressed in truth, as truth is eternity and lies are deception and deceit, deceit, lies and deception go in a circle and they end where they begin.
In other words, the hindus got the idea probably before everybody else; thousands and thousands of years ago - they figured out karma and the balance of that goes around and around. I found it out in reform school before I knew what hindu was, because I was a child, borned and left on his own to figure it out for myself. There are a lot of me now days.
There was a guy named Jesus who was born without a father and he figured it out and when he figured it out, he figured Caesar out. Caesar was supposed to be God, and when he figured God out, everybody thought he was a god. He wasn’t a god he just figured out what God was. When you figure out what God is, you figure it’s just a word and that knowing is the real God in perception and perceiving.
So what happens in this race that we begin - only the truth will endure. The lies will fade and die sooner or later.
Start out in a marathon, with a group of what you think is other people and they all melt away by selling out for money and lying and cheating and doing all the deception and deceiving things - which is OK, you know they only do it to themselves anyway though most people don’t really know what eternity is and they don’t know what the soul is. They don’t even know they have an eternity.
So they’re born and die before they even know it and they don’t count for nothing anyway.
But what happens is there are a few people or a few terminals or beings that hold on to the righteous and the truth, so they end up in the authority position of...
Are you ready for this?...
You’ve heard the expression RIGHT ON?
Well, ‘right on’ starts in the prisons.
Like most things it starts at the bottom.
So I had to go to prison to set ATWA.
If ATWA is not set in the abstract and set at the bottom of the Earth...
You can walk down the street and try to start a word, you know, but it’s not going to endure. Like you say ‘bebopalubop’ or ‘jitterbug’ or you make up a song that may run for well, twenty years, it may run for 100 years but what you’re talking about is traditions and traditions are set in life - with 200 or 300 years to get a tradition.
A tradition is not something that one person sets, it’s a universal thought that’s borned like for real. Like a lot of people don’t have no ground. they don’t have a space to make a garden. They don’t have no mind on the ground. Their mind’s on where they’re going to or where they’re coming from. They don’t have no mind of where they are now. Where they are now is RIGHT ON.
So we start with say...100 people, and 100 people are all saying...
RIGHT.
RIGHT ON RIGHTEOUS.
ROLL, SOUL, ON THE WHEEL.
RIGHT ON, REAL, RIGHT ON, REAL.
REDEMPTION’S THE PROGRAM.
RIGHT ON, REAL...
And then one guy sells out and he makes parole and he gives it up to someone else and tells somebody and causes somebody else some misery while he gets out and thinks he’s going to have a good day, you dig?
But he gets out and ends up drowning in the ocean.
And then somebody else sells out for another reason and then pretty soon you look around you and everybody’s gone. you see it?
So then you’re borned, and you come up as a child and you’re trying to find out how to transcend  the confusion and use your intelligence to survive and use your intelligence to figure out what God is and what peace is and what all the things are that complete your life as your being - and then I pass on to you - RIGHT ON.
And you say ‘’well ‘right on’ is just two words’’ but then you look at 150 years of prison, 2 or 3 world wars, the north and south war. You see the Dutch and the Amish and the Quakers who set the prison to give people a chance to rehabilitate themselves on the premise of the realities of the human condition and the way people really are in the animalistic perspective.
That you can chastise a child when they are young enough to be formed like a piece of clay in a mold, and then to a perspective that you would feel advantageous to your own survival - in our kin, in your kind, in your beings that are like you, like your children. When you have a son, you want your son to have a better world than you had, You want your son to have a place on Earth so that he can live. You want him to have trees, you want him to have a chance to survive. And you see how dark and dismal the righteous people are who play-act ‘right on’.  They play act the words and they raise their hand and scream and holler about all the gods, and then when no one’s looking, they are deceiving and playing all the other games on the other side, and you see the two sides of both sides, and then you see the middle, and then you see that no game is the best game, that no game encompasses all the games, because games are made up in an artificial environment, with an artificial thing called time. Time is not today, one day at a time is in prison, it’s been held in prison for as long as prison has been because it’s the law and the law is the will of God. The will of God is the law.
The humans have made a joke out of it. They don’t abide by the law because they don’t have a real God. All their gods are phony, all their gods are fake gods. All their gods are used to make money. They wont go any deeper than what somebody told ‘em because the truth will bring tears and sadness and sorrow. The truth is hard to experience because it’s been buried under the grave so long.
Few have given their lives to the Mighty Right On.
The Mighty Right On is in the graves man.
All the soldiers that gave their lives for you, so that you would stand a chance for survival on planet Earth.
Your Great - Great - Great - Great - Great - Great Grandpa marched off for some particular reason.
Your race, your people, your love, your sons going backwards forever.
So, the Mighty Right On is on you now - on your computer. That would be - Order, God’s Law, God’s Law is simply survive or there’s no God. Sin is when you do something against yourself - you’re sinning against God because God is inside yourself.
Your body houses God and to disrespect your body disrespects God. To do some bad to any living thing is to do a bad to yourself. If you step on a bug, spray the spiders, kill the animals or eat hamburgers or whatever your doing against life - your doing against yourself, because you are all life. You are all the world, you are order, you are survival, you are the atmosphere, you are the trees, you are the animals, the bugs, birds, the bees.
You are everything and there is no bad, its all good, the only bad is when you do bad for and against yourself.
The Mighty Right On is heartbeat now.
And there’s only me here standing alone, everybody else has found an excuse to run away and hide from themselves because they cannot stand the truth.
Because the truth is too much, too heavy, too fast, it’s just not for human consumption.
The humans can’t understand the way of the wolf, or the snake that lays in the grass or the bumblebee that gives his life when he has to sting somebody.
That’s what the Manson Family was like, bumblebees, they stung to survive. They did what they felt was right, just like we’re all soldiers in the truth of ATWA - because ATWA is everyones life and that is the simplicity of the Mighty Right On.
Power to the soul, the mind and the body.

War for Water by 2030 - US Intelligence Report

Glass half empty.

From the Pacific Institute - Types of Water Conflict:

Control of Water Resources (state and non-state actors): where water supplies or access to water is at the root of tensions.
Military Tool (state actors): where water resources, or water systems themselves, are used by a nation or state as a weapon during a military action.
Political Tool (state and non-state actors): where water resources, or water systems themselves, are used by a nation, state, or non-state actor for a political goal.
Terrorism (non-state actors): where water resources, or water systems, are either targets or tools of violence or coercion by non-state actors.
Military Target (state actors): where water resource systems are targets of military actions by nations or states.
Development Disputes (state and non-state actors): where water resources or water systems are a major source of contention and dispute in the context of economic and social development.
From Russia Today:

Nations will cut off rivers to prevent their enemies having access to water downstream, terrorists will blow up dams, and states that cannot provide water for their citizens will collapse. This is the future - as painted by a top US security report.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the organization that oversees US intelligence agencies such as the CIA and FBI, was commissioned by President Barack Obama to examine the impact of water scarcity worldwide on US security.
And while the prospect of “water wars” has been touted for decades, it may start to become reality within a decade. The ODNI predicts that by 2040 water demand will outstrip current supply by 40 per cent.

Impoverished volatile states will be worst off

Water shortages “will hinder the ability of key countries to produce food and generate energy, posing a risk to global food markets and hobbling economic growth.” North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia will be hit the hardest, the report states.
And while the coming shortage is a manageable problem for richer countries, it is a deadly“destabilizing factor” in poorer ones. As a rule, economically disadvantaged countries are already prone to political, social and religious turmoil, and failure to provide water for farmers and city dwellers can be the spark for wider “state failure.”
Among those most vulnerable to this scenario are Sudan, Pakistan and Iraq, which are all locked in debilitating civil conflicts, and Somalia, which has effectively ceased to function as a state. ODNI envisages countries restricting water for its own citizens to “pressure populations and suppress separatist elements.” The report predicts many ordinary citizens will have to resort to the kind of purification tablets currently used by soldiers and hikers to obtain clean water.
Most dangerously, there are whole clusters of unstable countries fighting for the same waterways.
The report lists the Nile, which runs through Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt, the Jordan, which runs through Israel and several Arab countries, and the Indus, which is shared by Pakistan and India.
These areas are managed by special commissions, and the report states that “historically, water tensions have led to more water-sharing agreements than violent conflicts.” But once there is not enough water to go around, these fragile pacts may collapse, with “more powerful upstream nations impeding or cutting off downstream flow.”
Even without outright fighting, the ODNI says countries will use water as a tool of political leverage, similar to how gas and oil are used today.
Infrastructure projects will become increasingly politicized: “States will also use their inherent ability to construct and support major water projects to obtain regional influence or preserve their water interests,” the report claims.
Laos’ proposed $3.5 billion Mekong Dam has already been the subject of an international dispute with Cambodia and Vietnam, who say the dam will obliterate their fisheries and agriculture.

Water terrorism threat

And even international compromise is not likely to be enough to ensure water safety.
“Physical infrastructure, including dams, has been used as a convenient and high-publicity target by extremists, terrorists, and rogue states, threatening substantial harm and this will become more likely beyond the next 10 years.”
The report states that an attack on a single point in a water supply, such as a canal or desalinization plant is sufficient to deprive hundreds of thousands of clean water. In return, governments will have to implement costly safety measures that are likely to be of limited use, due to the extensive length of rivers that have to be protected.
The ODNI says there is a decade to tackle the problems before they spiral out of control. It suggests revising international water treaties and investing in superior water purification technologies that will make the increasingly scarce resource plentiful again.

Virgin Birth in Wild Snakes

A copperhead mother intertwined with her "virgin birth" son.

Ker Than
for National Geographic News
Published September 14, 2012

"Virgin birth" among animals may not be a rare, last-resort, save-the-species stopgap after all.

For the first time, animal mothers, specifically pit vipers, have been discovered spawning fatherless offspring in the wild. More to the point, the snakes did so even when perfectly good males were around.
Among vertebrate animals that normally reproduce sexually, virlgin birth, or parthenogenesis, had been observed in only captive female snakes, Komodo dragons, birds, and sharks.
Until now it's been considered an evolutionary novelty, albeit one that made a sort of sense—a way for a bloodline to continue in the absence of suitable fathers.
For the study behind the find, published in this week's issue of the journal Biology Letters, a team led by biologist Warren Booth of the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma captured pregnant copperhead and cottonmouth females from fields where males were present. When the snakes gave birth, the researchers documented the physical and genetic characteristics of the litters.
Tests showed that 1 of the 22 copperhead mothers had given birth parthenogenetically, as had 1 of the 37 cottonmouth snakes collected—a ratio Booth finds surprisingly high.
"The fact that we find it in such small sample sizes is quite remarkable," Booth said. "What we're going to do now is go back to these populations and do sampling year-to-year to see if we can find instances of parthenogenesis again."

Virgin-Birth Mysteries
Why would female snakes undergo parthenogenesis when males are available?
One possibility: It might have been the only way they could reproduce. Booth noted that the copperhead that underwent parthenogenesis was smaller than usual—and perhaps passed over by males in favor of fitter females.
Other scientists have suggested that parthenogenesis is a kind of random reproductive mistake. Booth himself is investigating the possibility that a bacteria or virus is the trigger.
Another mystery: Each of the two virgin-birth litters consisted of a single snake. A normal copperhead litter might number between 6 and 9, while cottonmouths can spawn up to 20 offspring.
Also, the two virgin-birth baby snakes were both male. That might just seem like the luck of the draw, except that every known parthenogenetic snake offspring has been male—a certifiable scientific mystery.
"It would be interesting to see if we can find females," Booth said. "There's no reason realistically why we shouldn't find females, but in all of the [snake] species that we've looked at ... they've all been males."
It's also unknown whether animals born by parthenogenesis can reproduce normally or have virgin births themselves.
Parthenogenetic offspring often exhibit abnormalities or die early. That shouldn't surprise anyone, Booth said, since it's essentially "a severe form of inbreeding."

A virgin birth occurs when a polar body—a cell produced along with the egg—essentially functions like a sperm and "fertilizes" the egg.
As a result, the DNA of a virgin-birth offspring, or "parthenogen," doesn't perfectly match that of its parent—the offspring is a sort of half clone.
So far, parthenogenesis has only been observed among sharks, reptiles, and birds (which are closely related to reptiles). Mammals aren't thought to be capable of parthenogenesis, because their reproduction requires copies of genes from both parents.
"So no human parthenogenesis anytime soon," said Stony Brook University marine biologist Demian Chapman, who discovered virgin birth among blacktip sharks.

"We'll leave that to the snakes, birds, and sharks."

Drugs, Power and Sanity, Charles Manson's Letter to Ronald Reagan

Universal Order pamphlet entitled:
Charles Manson: Drugs, Power & Sanity.
In 1986 Ronald Reagan declared the ''War on Drugs'',  Charles Manson responded to Reagan in the following letter which was reprinted in the Universal Order pamphlet ''Drugs, Power and Sanity''. The pamphlet also contained a letter to a journalist in San Rafael, California, near where Manson was then incarcerated at San Quentin.  Both letters are reprinted here as a mark in history.

U.S. President Ronald W. Reagan
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington D.C.
August, 1986

The government didn’t beat the moonshine still, and whiskey has power just as coffee and tobacco do. Uncle Jess from Kentucky said, when I was a child, that the government would end up with whiskey in stores and would run the stills because people in government were the big crooks. I tell you what he said and I say this:  You’re not going to beat drugs. I was in prison before people came to prison for drugs.  I saw the government make the problem. From your foundation, you can’t help the people that don’t want help. You’ve got to go with the will of the people, or lose heart within your own government. You’re going to rip it apart and waste a lot of money.

Your war should be against pollution, and for putting trees back before you lose the air, water and wildlife. Take over the drugs and use their power to move people to work on CCC projects. Put the trees back fast, before the pollution destroys all life. I saw it dying in Death Valley. That’s why Krishna Venta blew himself up in 1949 at the Fountain of the World in Box Canyon, California, when the Feather River Project cut off his fountains of water off.

Plants and herbs that you call drugs have more power than you understand.  All the distorted thoughts and rules make problems worse.  Here is a story:  Two men are in a cell.  One said he wanted to die and was going to kill himself.  The other said he wouldn’t let him.  So the first guy killed the other one, and then himself.  If people want to eat shit, you can’t stop them without going with them.

No one even knew what drugs were until Mr. Anslinger told everyone what not to take.  Cops teaching kids what not to do, only shows them what they can do if they want to go against someone.  And you put a bunch of fools who only know what the books say…  No new game, honor or purpose.  Some of the meanest fighting men in history got high before they went into battle.  Remember why the .45 caliber gun was put into service?

You can take a pile of rocks and use them to build a house, or you can take the same pile and start a war.  Tell children not to throw rocks, make rules against picking up rocks, and then make them mad.  Keep projecting what not to do, and you can make the thought in their brains of what can and will be done.

Before the U.S. had a government, the monks sat on top of the grapes, the wine, Buddhists and other monks had the poppies and flowers of power under control.  Control must be in order and order must be in truth.  And when in truth, you can face the problem as it is, not through distorted judgements.  Roots and herbs are part of life, things not known but by a few.   One day all you space cases will face the Earth dying under your feet.  We saw the water out of balance with the land at the Fountain of the World, and the old man in Death Valley told me the same, after I got out from 17 years of service to the truth in government hallways.  I’m the last guy in line, but I’ve got all the thoughts for the balance of order and peace with a one world government, if we all are to survive.

I want a telephone and the charge to call anyone … or simply a courtroom with the rights I was denied 17 years ago.

The conflict in your leader's head is reflecting in the will of the people. Drugs are not a problem by themselves but in the way people are dealing with them. I was in prison before they sent people to prison for drugs. Possession of drugs was not a crime. Few even knew what they were. Then a man named Ansliger got a job with the government and built his own importance up by teaching everyone about drugs; by teaching how not to deal with drugs, what not to do, he showed people what to do and people learned about drugs. The government had already outlawed beer and it didn't work. Neither would prohibition of drugs.
Old, fat uninformed people who have a death wish, start programs in the name of helping people. Your schools are prisons. The money is paying some people to destroy the will of the rest, and all in the name of help. They will not face the real problems and will make up problems to suit their own thinking and paychecks. For example: pollution of Air and Water is covered up by campaigns saying, "Don't smoke or chew tobacco''. But if five hundred people are in prison for willing the saving of Air, Trees, Water and Animals (ATWA), for trying to redeem rivers and lakes, they are called crazy and covered up by the people who run for office in the name of redeeming the rivers, lakes, trees and wildlife.
In 1967 or 1968, we of the so-called ''Manson Family'' started the spectrum of colors into thought chambers related to the colors of the sky, earth, water, fire, plants, flowers, animals, bugs, sea life and so on. The people who ran for office in the name of Rainbow have been covering this up, lying and covering the truth, for a job or money. How do we tell millions of people that their lifestyle must change? Cars must stop. No more trees cut. Paper waste is your life and the ones that love life on Earth must stop. People who are locked into lifestyles that destroy Earth and destroy anyone who tells them the truth about it... and many don't even understand why. You've got millions of people doing things only for the appearance and feeling of importance.
The Earth is dying, we tried to tell you this twenty years ago but no one hears life on Earth. They want it in outer space. Some even call the love of Earth evil and not in the will of God. Their ''will of God" is: die and go to some place in the sky.
I never went to school but I'm not dumb. I've been in a cage of one kind or another for over forty years. From 1943 to 1954 I was told, ''You've got no rights until your age twenty-one''. I'm fifty-one and I've still got no rights. The laws of people are now just cover-ups over the will of God.
Your money is in trouble because you waste money on programs and jobs that are only made up to make people feel important. Only a one world government will redeem ATWA on Earth. I've been hooking that thought up for years. In other words, the only way anyone can live on Earth is one world under the last person. I am the last and bottom line; you will all do what I say or there will be nothing.
In 1969 I told the court to give up an old game and I would fix it and start new. But that was 1969. Now you must suffer a lot more to balance and first, people must want to survive but are so brainwashed that they don't even see the real needs for the balance of will and life.

Charles Manson

Pentti Linkola on Cats

A feral cat is not a wild animal, it is an invasive species.
Feral cats kill 1 Billion native animals in the U.S. every year
Non native feral cats kill 1 Billion birds a year in the U.S. alone.

Pentti Linkola, in a 1993 essay reprinted in Can Life Prevail? (2009, pp 91-97), writes...

"Not only are fanatical animal protectors friends of the cat, but so is half of the population! Man's relationship with nature has never been more deranged, reckless and hypocritical than it is with the cat: when it comes to defending the cat, many environmentalists turn cunning and deceitful ... And what about the thousands of mawkish pictures of cats in magazines?

Feral and outdoor cats hunt and kill
regardless of wether they are well fed or not.

How come you never see pictures that show a cat engaging in what, according to my experience, would be more typical behaviour: like dragging the mother of a green sandpiper brood into the crevice of a cowshed, or dragging a redstart by its wing into the rose bushes of some family home? Or again, sitting on the stairs of a cottage, guarding the red-breasted robin or squirrel it has just killed?

After man the cat is the most prolific hunter on Earth,
the Cat is also the most popular pet on the planet.

In August, when the fledgeling flocks of little birds move low in bushes and grassy banks, I have seen a female cat carry a little bird to its autumnal kittens every half hour past my ornithologist's workplace - not a particularly encouraging message about my work. Compared to the cat, the sparrowhawk and the hobby are just amateurs. ... The cat problem is growing all the more serious now that animal protection authorities have passed a new insane resolution: they have decreed that putting a cat down by drowning is illegal.

Overpopulation of feral and outdoor cats is a worldwide epidemic,
 an ecological nightmare.

The breeding patterns among domestic cats have long infringed all natural boundaries: each cat now has a lifespan of twenty years, brings forth two broods a year, is fertile under the age of one and knows no natural enemies. Nothing even close this has ever before been observed in nature. ... Currently hoardes of cats are posing a severe threat to the conservation of birds and wildlife. A minimum requirement would be for cats to be registered and kept on a tight leash when outside; were any cat to be found slaughtering a protected animal, its owner should be prosecuted. This however is pure utopia - as is always the case with attempts to protect nature that clash with people's ardent desires. ... It is utterly impossible to accommodate cats in northern lands: the cat simply remains a grievance to be rooted out. Sure, cats are linked to some solid traditions, but so are spitting on the floor and tobacco. In any case, cats must be got rid of."
